Fans have been left eagerly excited after the makers of the upcoming movie Fighter announced that the trailer of the Hrithik Roshan starrer will be released on Monday. Touted as India’s biggest aerial action drama, netizens have been cherishing the glimpses from the movie they have been getting. Amidst it all, they noticed that the director of the film Siddharth Anand, and the leading lady Deepika Padukone are not following each other on Instagram.
It seems like many took to social media to discuss about it and speculated that Siddharth and Deepika have unfollowed each other on Instagram, ahead of the movie’s trailer release. It is to be noted that there is no proof that the duo followed each other’s handles before the speculation started arising. For those who don’t know, the director-actress duo have collaborated for the third time. They have worked with each other in Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) and Pathaan (2023). According to a report by News18, the director follows only 20 handles on Instagram including Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Tiger Shroff, Shah Rukh Khan, and Arjun Kapoor among a few others. However, The 38-year-old actress follows around 186 accounts on Instagram.
Announcing the trailer release date of Fighter with a brand new poster, Deepika wrote, “#FighterTrailer TOMORROW at 12:00 PM IST! #FighterOn25thJanuary Releasing Worldwide.Experience #Figher on the big screen in IMAX 3D! @S1danand @hrithikroshan @anilskapoor @marflix_pictures @viacom18studios.” The film is set to release on January 25, 2024.
